“The Search for Michael Rockefeller,” directed by Fraser Heston, is an investigative look at the 1961 disappearance in New Guinea of New York Gov. Nelson Rockefeller’s 23-year-old son.
The Search for Michael Rockefeller won Best Editing – Feature Documentary and 2nd place in the Feature Documentary category at the 2011 LA Art-House Film Festival.
The film also won Best Documentary at the 2011 New York International Film Festival and Outstanding Investigative Documentary at the 2011 Sonoma International Film Festival.
Co-produced by Ted Hughes with filmmaker and director Frasier Heston, all of the film’s editing and extensive audio restoration work was done by The Edit Corporation.
